In 1990, Nick was a founding Partner of FOCUS responsible for all mortgage related business within the firm.

Today Nick heads up the Mortgage Division at FOCUS, which represents the largest specialist IFA mortgage broking team in the region.Having worked for both English and American Banks from 1978, Nick then moved into broking within the Financial Services Industry in 1984. In his career, he has arranged over 10,000 mortgages for clients ranging from multi-million pound bespoke arrangements through to first time buyers and shared ownership schemes.

Nick specialises in large mortgages either for purchase or remortgage and is fully approved to give specialist advice onEquity Release Lifetime Mortgages.

Buy to Let and Let to Buy are additional specialty areas for individuals and professional landlords alike.

Nick holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and is a Member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance (MLIBF).

He is a regular commentator on mortgage issues within the industry and is regarded by many as an authority in his subject areas.

Biggest Achievement

Many, but none more satisfying than obtaining a mortgage for a client who thought it was impossible

Greeting a client as Mr and then later in the interview discovering 'he' was actually a Miss!

Britain becoming a 'Nanny State'.

Caroline's home made chicken pie, chips and peas (on the odd occasion!).
